Safety Services New Brunswick
Safety Services New Brunswick is a not-for-profit organization that has been specializing in workplace safety, road safety, and community safety since 1967. This podcast, hosted by Perley Brewer, launches in January 2023 and new interviews will be uploaded on a bi-weekly basis. The idea for a health & safety podcast came to life over the last month with the intent being - to provide a forum for both showcasing and educating New Brunswickers’ on workplace health & safety. Why a podcast? Today, individuals are turning more and more to different platforms to get their information. As New Brunswickers’, we all know that we drive a lot, to get to and from work, to attend meetings, to meet with clients, etc. Podcasts allow our listeners to tune into a podcast and to make good use of this otherwise wasted time. Our goal is to provide a podcast with both speakers and content that would be of interest to all health & safety practitioners and organizations in New Brunswick. In essence, we are a health and safety podcast for the New Brunswick health and safety community. As such, on a bi-weekly basis, we will upload a new podcast featuring health and safety professionals, as well as other health and safety guests such as injured workers or family members of workers who have died on the job.We will also provide to you, throughout our podcast, an email address (podcast@ssnb.ca) where you can reach us. We would appreciate your feedback, as well as your ideas for future podcast guests.Over the next year we want to feature speakers from not only Safety Services, but also from WorkSafeNB, the NB Construction Safety Association, the NB Continuing Care Safety Association, from the public and private sectors, from municipalities, etc.
